FJS is a certified Women and Minority Business Enterprise in the State of Florida providing customized sales and marketing services to a variety of clients. Frankie Jennings relocated to Ft. Myers from Atlanta, GA two decades ago. While living in Atlanta, Jennings sat in on legislative sessions and worked with legislators to put programs and policies in place to enhance the quality of life for the people of Atlanta. Her love of public service followed her to Fort Myers. A well-known community leader, Ms. Jennings served on the Board of the Fort Myers Redevelopment Agency and is currently active in many local organizations. In 2004, she served a two-year terms president of the Women’s Democratic Club of Lee County, and was one of four delegates elected from Florida 14thCongressional District to attend the Democratic National Convention in Boston. Mr. Kennix has more than 40 years of experience in executive leadership in public/private sector education and community development entities. His track record includes securing $5 million in grants and loans for the Dunbar Shopping Center. Partners on this project included First Union Bank, Pepsi Corporation land donation for the site which generated the State of Florida Tax Credit, Federal EDA, HHSA’s Office of Community Services and HUD Sec. 108 Guarantee, Recruitment of Atlanta and based developer Herman Russell to participate in a joint venture with Centex-Rooney to develop the City of Palms Stadium. Roy Kennix holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Pittsburg, and has completed all requirements for a doctorate in public administration from the University of Georgia with the exception of a dissertation.
